Traditionally missions has been our main focus. At First Alliance Church that focus is expressed by the following:

Annual Missions Festival – This eight day event takes place late February early March. It seeks to promote overseas missions through having missionary speakers from Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and South America. The Festival seeks to encourage prayer, giving, and going. An annual missions pledge is raised. In 2007 that pledge came to $162,017.

Jordan Project – First Alliance Church has accepted responsibility to assist development ministries in the country of Jordan in the form of helping a medical clinic, teaching English as a second language, and computer training.

Missions Hospitality – Toccoa has become the location for furloughing missionaries, so that on average ten missionary families would be resident at the church each year. A welcome service for newly arriving missionaries takes place in August, and a farewell service for departing missionaries every May.

Prayer – Prayer for missions is woven into the fabric of church life, but is especially evident in Sunday worship services, the Wednesday prayer service and Alliance Women.
